Having got back into photography
after many years away, I bought
into Nikon thinking more kit would
lead to better photographs. A few
years later I decided to change to
mirrorless and swapped to Fujifi lm.
All the time I found myself
wanting a camera I could take
anywhere, which resulted in me
buying an early Fujifi lm X100. I
used it alongside my Fujifi lm X-Pro
models, but found I was picking up
the X100 more and more.
I love to take photos to remind
myself of my life and travels. The
X100F is the perfect camera for
the job, being small and discreet. It
captures amazing JPEGs and the
fact all the controls are accessible
on top of the camera, without
having to delve into the menu is
great. If you only want one
camera, this has got to be the one
you choose. Better still, it’s very
affordable on the used market.
