Lawmakers surround the casket of the late congressman John Lewis, a towering figure who spent his life fighting for
racial justice, as he lies in state at the U.S. Capitol. The funeral procession passed multiple l andmarks across Washington,
including the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial and Black Lives Matter Plaza. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, only
