WHAT GOOD SHALL I DO THIS DAY?
A Journal Inspired by Benjamin Franklin
Benjamin Franklin began each day by asking
himself, in the pages of his journal, “What
good shall I do this day?” and returned, at
the end of the day, to ask himself the “eve-
ning question”: “What good have I done
to-day?” This handsome faux-leather jour-
nal invites modern diarists to contemplate
the good they can do in their everyday
lives using Benjamin Franklin’s own daily
questions, and to think about their lives in
the way that Franklin thought about his.

This 340-page journal features 365 undated
entries and includes 75 quotations drawn
from Franklin’s life and writings, as well as
an informative and delightful introduction
detailing the specific ways that Franklin
used his journal, and how he made it cen-
tral to his life. Also included is a facsimile
of a template page of Franklin’s journal,
a list of Franklin’s 13 ideal virtues, and
pages for notes. Use this journal to brain-
storm, set intentions, and reflect on your
accomplishments.
The 5 ½" x 7 ¼" x 1" journal is bound in
red faux-leather with gold embossing.

♥ me and say ‘oh my, you smell so good.’ Maggie (NY) “With the Athena on, people stop The UPS

man was the real clincher. For years he would come
in, and leave. But once I put on the 10:13 he said.
‘Has anyone told you you are so beautiful?’”
♥ Ken (WA) “My wife likes me better when
I wear 10X. I have noticed a distinct differ-
ence. I call this my undercover science. It just
works. She wants to be with me and I am a
happier person.”

Global warming, rising seas, intensifying storms,
ocean acidifi cation, ozone depletion, rapidly de-
pleting water resources, shrinking biodiversity,
deforestation, overpopulation, sprawl, pollution,
desertifi cation, lack of reverence for the natural
world, paradigm paralysis, techno-optimism,
government corruption, skyrocketing debt, the
perpetual pursuit of never-ending economic
growth, nothing but non-solution solutions and
telling people only what they want to hear.
Is there any way out of this quicksand?... In short,
I am seeking philanthropic funding, for pursuing
ideas and strategies that I believe, in aggregate,
represent our best hope for saving the planet.
