A giant sculpture carved from a half-tonne of butter has been
created to raise awareness of the struggling dairy industry in
Pennsylvania, America. Unveiled at the annual Pennsylvania
Farm Show, the sculpture includes a soldier, doctor, fire-fighter
and football player all wearing superhero capes and also features
the phrase “Find Your Power”. Representing everyday heroes,
each figure holds a glass of milk whilst standing around a table
hosting other popular dairy products, such as ice cream. Governor
of Pennsylvania,
Tom Wolf, attended
the reveal of the
butter sculpture and
explained, “It’s more
than just butter...
it’s a way for us to
honour our dairy
industry in a fun and

EEL
Researches were baffled
following the discovery
of a seal with an eel stuck
up its nose in the north-
western Hawaiian Islands.
A photograph taken of the
animal’s predicament was
shared by the National Oceanic
and Atmospheric Administration
(NOAA) who have witnessed
the phenomenon multiple
times. A representative from NOAA
explained that in the nearly 40
years of protecting and monitoring
“endangered Hawaiian monk seals,
we have only started seeing ‘eels
in noses’ in the last few years... We
don’t know if this is just some strange
statistical anomaly or if we will see
more eels in seals in the future.” One
theory suggests the seal may have
swallowed the eel by accident and
regurgitated it out the wrong way.
The NOAA has produced guidelines
on how to safely remove the eels
with lead scientist, Charles Littnan
saying, “One of them was really
far in, so it was like a magician’s
handkerchief trick - we just had to
keep pulling and pulling.”

A 16-year-old girl who has grown her hair since receiving a horrid haircut ten years
ago, now holds a Guinness World Record. Nilanshi Patel, of Gujarat in India, was
deemed the record holder for the longest hair on a teenager after her long brown
locks measured approximately 170 centimetres in length. Patel explained that she
began growing her hair following a negative experience at the hairdresser saying,
“I got my hair cut, a really bad haircut. So, then I decided that I won’t cut my
hair. I decided that when I was six and have not cut it since.” The long-haired-
lass claimed that her parents are supportive of the situation and said many of her
friends call her Rapunzel, adding, “I don’t face any problems, I do sports and all the
things with my hair. It’s a lucky charm for me!”
