You no longer have to open Settings to
change Wi-Fi networks, or connect an
already-paired Bluetooth device. Just
open Control Centre, tap and hold any
icon in the top left square, then tap and
hold Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
1
In your Mail inbox, tap and hold an
email for a great new feature. The
email opens, with a pop-up menu offering
a range of options. It makes it much easier
to move spam to the junk folder, among
other things.
2
You have far more control over
formatting in emails. Select the
text you want to format, or tap the
chevron to the right of the predictive text,
and press the ‘Aa’ icon that appears for
formatting options.
5
There’s a new way of selecting
emails from your inbox too. Tap
Edit and instead of tapping the circles one
by one, to tick them, simply drag your
finger down over the circles to select a
large group of them.
4
The Mail toolbar has been
simplified. There’s now only one
button for: reply, not reply, reply all and
forward. Instead, these options, and more,
are given in a pop-up window when you
tap the Reply icon.
3
The other icons you see in Step 2 do
the following (left to right): Attach a
picture from Photos, take a new photo and
attach it, attach a document from Files,
take and attach a document scan and use
Mail Markup.
