Wi-Fi and
Bluetooth Options
from
Control Centre
You no longer have to open
Settings to change Wi-Fi
networks or connect an
already-paired Bluetooth
device. Just open Control
Centre, tap and hold any
icon in the top left square,
then tap and hold the
Bluetooth or Wi-Fi icons for
an information window.
Mail enhancements.
1
In your Mail inbox, tap and hold an email for a great new
feature. The email opens, with a pop-up menu offering a
range of options. It makes it much easier to move spam to the
junk folder, among other things.
3
The icons on the right of the predictive text bar do the
following (left to right); Attach a picture from Photos or take
a new photo and attach it, attach a document from Files, take and
attach a document, or scan and use Mail Markup.
5
There’s a new way of selecting emails from your inbox too. Tap
Edit and then, instead of tapping the circles one by one to tick
them, simply drag your finger down over the circles to select a large
group of them.
2
You have more control over formatting in emails. Tap ‘Aa’
to the left of the predictive text for formatting options
including colour and font. You can select the text you want to
format, or change the formatting before you type.
4
The Mail tools have been simplified. Instead of one button to
reply, not reply, reply all, and forward, these options and more
are given in a pop-up window when you tap the Reply icon. Scroll it up
for all the options.
