Caledonian Sleeper
http://www.sleeper.scot
Not only does the Caledonian Sleeper
have a swish new fleet ofovernight trains
operating betweenLondon and Scotland,
it’s also on the right tracks with its
revamped bookingwebsite. Starting with
a prominent search engine on the
homepage, it’s five-s tep journey clearly
displays the departure, arrival and
duration times, along withvariousfare
options, optionalextras and a plan of the
carriage. You can also peekat the Sleeper
experience, check out destination guides
and sign upfor the latest offers. The only
derailment is the baffling decisionto hide
the fab range ofretro-style posters.

NHSX
http://www.nhsx.nhs.uk
The NHS is (finally) being digitally
transformed, giving patients access to
data and more online services. This is all
under the banner of NHSX – ‘X’standing
for userexperience – and this site
explains the thinking. Sofar, it’s ra ther
“governmental” and, in places, a bit
cringey. The videoby Secretary ofStat e
for Health Matt Hancock is deliveredover
a driving beat, yet the site itself blandly
draws attentionto the plan, culture and
values while sendingyou elsewherefor
blogs and updates. That said, there’sa
goodoverview of the apps andtools,
and aregularly updated Twitter account.
