Click or tap the deviceyou want to send a fileto. If the
device is in the hands of another person,you can chatto
them by typing a message into the Chat box.^1 Pres s
Enter or the arrow key to send the message.Responses appear
on your screen.^2

Click or tap Send File^1 and your device’s usual file
selectiontool appears. OnWindows, it ’s a File Explorer
window. Select the file and click OK.The file appears in
the transfer section^2 and reports on its progress across the
network.

Click or tap the fileto see the optionsavailable, which may
vary slightly depending on the device. On Windows, you
can open the file^1 or show thefolder it ’s in.^2 Android
and iOS have the same options, but iOS offersto let you open
the file in another appstraight away – ho wever, it doesn’t show
you where the file is.

To find files later on iOS, click the menu button^1 and
choose File Browser,^2 then tap Others.Your files are
listed. Tap a file andyou can open it in the software or
chooseto open it in another app using iOS’sstandard export
tool.

If you ha ve two devices and noWi-Fi network,you
may be ableto use one of the devicesto crea te a
hotspot,connect the other device and share files. On
a compatible device, such as this Android tablet, tap theWi-Fi
Direct switch.^1 The network name and password^2 is shown.
Connect another deviceto it and share files as normal.

If you need to send a fileto a device that doesn’t have
Feem installed, use theWebShare option. Choose it from
the menu, then click the ‘Turn onFeem WebShare’switch.
On the remote PC, type the URL into a browser, clickLogin and
enter the password lis ted on the host device. Click a file^1 to
download it.^2
