t ORB OF STARS
Maicon Germiniani
Globular star cluster Omega
Centauri is, of course, one of the
stand-out objects of the southern
sky. It looks great from Brazil, from
where Maicon took this shot using
a TS Optics Triplet 115/800 scope
and ZWO ASI183MM Pro camera
and a total of 6 hours of LRGB.
p HAT’S OFF Peter Brackenridge
A total of 22 hours of LRGB imaging
using an RC-18 telescope and SBIG
STX-16803 camera were what it took
to produce this fabulous image of
the Sombrero Galaxy, also known as
Messier 104.
