Withover 200 members, each individual cakeartist has created their own idea of SweetSummer in cake or sugar form. We spoke tothe collaboration organiser, Isabel Tamargo, ofTartas Imposibles, to find out more.``````Tell us about your collaborationSweet Summer is the first public and massiveinternational collaboration about the summer. Allmembers were free to make something that remindsthem of this time of year. There were no restrictions, with every kind of sugarcraft work welcome in ourcollaboration.``````What inspired you to do this theme?I was searching for a funny and inspiring theme suitablefor everyone, and summer was a great choice for that.I knew weâd get a colourful and amusing collection ofpieces.``````How did you decide on this group of people?I had already worked as an admin with some cake friendsin another private collaboration, but this was the first timeI had hosted a collaboration alone. My very first thoughtwas to make it something for everyone, including peoplewho have asked me how they could join a collaborationin the past. I felt so bad that not everyone could getinvolved in others, so I decided to create a massivepublic collaboration to allow all the interested people totake the challenge and show to the world what they arecapable of.``````Did anything go wrong?Quite the opposite. I have participated in manycollaborations and Iâve never seen anything like thisbefore. We had a high participation in our private group, where all the members supported and encouragedeach other. Everyone got involved, regardless of theirlanguages. They were so united, motivated and happyabout this project. They are the soul of this collaboration!
