but, who knows, it
might catch on after
this German thriller
launches today. It’s
about a student, Mia,
who comes to Freiburg
University to extend
her interest in
biohacking, live with aresources, for men like
this? The documentary
shows how the law’s
attitude changed after
the murder of Jamie
Bulger in 1993: twice
as many young people
than before were
locked up in the decade
that followed. This
absorbing documentary
has no easy answers,
but makes you wonder
what the alternative
might be.the authorities have
worked hard to give
him, you can’t help
thinking that he prefers
the certainties of
incarceration to the
chaos of life in the real
world. “I can’t do it out
there, mate,” he says.
Robert White is 32, but
he has been on the
wrong side of the law
for two decades. What
can the criminal justice
