CANON’S NEW A3+ pro imagePROGRAF
PRO-300 printer replaces the PIXMA
PRO-10S, and is 5.6kg lighter and about
15% smaller too, making it ideal for those
looking to achieve quality A3+ prints from
a compact unit. It integrates Canon’s
L-COA PRO processor to handle large
image data and calculate optimal ink
droplet layout quickly, and produces
A3 prints in under five minutes. Other
features include borderless prints,
panoramas can printed at lengths up to
990cm, the 10 LUCIA PRO inks will deliver
greater depth and colours, plus two black
inks – Photo Black (PBK) and Matte Black
(MBK) – are for deeper black tones and
mega monochrome prints.

THE NEW Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 II has a
revised optical design to offer, what Meyer
Optik Görlitz bills as ‘the best possible
contrast and image sharpness’ while still
retaining the unique ‘soapbubble’ bokeh
for which the lens is known for. The
minimum focusing distance has been
improved for this latest iteration of the
lens, as you can now focus as close as
0.9 meters. This can be reduced still
further with extension rings, giving a 2:1
reproduction ratio that makes this lens
perfect for playing with macro shots.

THIS LENS provides a 35mm-equivalent
focal range of 17.6-25.6mm, making it a
great choice for architecture and
landscapes. Once again, the 11-20mm
uses an unusual push-pull clutch
mechanism that allows you to switch from
auto to manual focus quickly. Most of the
changes to the new design are cosmetic,
but there is a new water-repellent anti-
reflective multi-coating.

line of clip-in micro filters which are
designed to clip into the sensor chamber
of Canon full-frame and APS-C DSLRs,
and now the company has expanded the
range to include the EOS R, EOS Ra and
EOS RP. The key attraction with clip-in
filters that attach to your camera is that a
single filter can be used with a variety of
lenses, regardless of filter thread diameter.
The STC filter range includes a selection of
neutral density options, and an IR cut filter
designed to minimize the appearance of
light pollution for astrophotography.

launch of a new camera strap designed for
female photographers in collaboration
with photographer Nicole Elliott. Its light,
ergonomic form factor takes the pressure
points away from the neck and shoulders
by ‘hugging’ the shoulder to distribute the
load weight evenly. The camera strap has
a reversible shoulder pad with two lens
cap pouches and two zippered pockets for

THESE NEW Hoya ND graduated filters
are unusual as they fit straight to the
camera lens and therefore lack the vertical
adjustments offered by square grads in
filter holders. Instead, the filters have a
fixed zone of transition in the centre of the
filter which is also softer than regular grads
for a subtler darkening effect. The filters
are made of high-quality, colour-neutral
optical glass and are mounted in a slim
aluminium frame that can be rotated for
sloping horizons. Hoya ProND Grad filters
will come in 77mm and 82mm diameters,
and in ND16 and ND32 densities.
