Reine

Reine is a fishing village in the

Lofoten Islands. I typically avoid

structures in my images, but

Reine is a location that seems

as if it was made for the camera.

I love the small details of the

image – the fishing boats and

things that hint of the lifestyle

A redfox(still wearing his

wintercoat) gives me the

onceover.In hindsight, I think

hewasattracted to my red

Jeep. I don’t see foxes that

often and especially one who

lets me talk to it

Staring at Strangers

I’m an opportunist, but I

made a few trips specifically

with the hope of capturing

399 (the Queen of the Tetons)

with her four cubs. 399 is

unique and is an amazingly

tough and prolific lady

Polar Bear

When you go to the top of the

world you take all the images

of polar bears you can. This

female was amazingly curious

and willing to have her photo

taken. I think the reflection of
