Youcanexpectrobustweather-sealing–
thoughinvariably,giventhatthemirrorless
modelisdaintier(andalsofeaturesan
articulatingscreen),it doesn’tfeelassturdy
asthe5D.It willwithstandsomeknocks,but
unliketheDSLR,youwouldn’twanttodropit.
TheR5alsofeaturesa brandnew2,130mAh
battery,theLP-E6NH,whichfeatures 14 per

feelmuchthesameasusinganEOSR– the

controls,menusand‘feel’ofshootingareall

virtuallyidentical,soif you’recomfortable

usingtheexistingRsystemthenthiswillbe

veryfamiliar.

There’sa significantandimmediately

noticeableimprovementinautofocus

performance.TheAFontheR5feelsmuch

morenimble,adaptableandreliable.TheDeep

LearningAFenginefromthe1DX MarkIII
