Hailed as “the world’s smallest studio light,” the A1X has a round head

that gives a soft fall-off and natural-looking light. It’s powered via its own

rechargeable battery rather than AA batteries, and also features a built-in

feels well-built and manages 450 full-power flashes per charge. Thanks

This concertina paper lantern fits to the front of the hähnel Modus

360 and 600 flashgun, fanning out to produce a softer, more diffuse

light source. You can use it on its own, or in conjunction with the

six coloured filters included in the kit, as well as a lantern diffuser

and filter adapter. The Lantern kit attaches to the hähnel clamps

magnetically, so expect less faffing and cursing with Velcro.
