QUICK LOOK Fantastical’s Time to Leave alerts

FANTASTICAL DOES NOT just

show your upcoming events

— it can help you get to them

thanks to its handy integration

of Time to Leave reminders, which give

you a buzz when it’s time to start your

journey. It can also show you travel times

using various modes of transport, as well

as the weather at your destination.

It does this by using your saved

addresses in the Contacts app. If you’ve

set your working hours in Fantastical

> Prefs > General, the app will use your

Contacts work address as your journey’s

starting point, provided your journey

begins within your workday. If it falls

outside of these hours, Fantastical uses

your home address. And if the event is

within three hours of another event, it

will use the Ľrst event’s location as your

starting point.

It’s clever stuļ and shows why

Fantastical can be such a useful app when

planning a journey. Throw in weather

forecasts, letting you know if bad weather

conditions might slow you down, and you

will Ľnd it’s a great tool to have at your
