I’m not encouraging anyone to be ignorant about the

it. I delete all my news apps before I leave for a trip,
because I know if I leave them on my phone, I’m going
to be tempted to open them when I’m relaxing in my
hotel room after a day of sightseeing. And all of a

hot rage. It’s not worth it.

be distracted by all the other apps on those devices. My

when I’m packing. You can load it up with books so you

another one at the ready, and it’s light enough to barely
be felt in your bag. (The latest Kindle weighs just 6.1
ounces and is about a third of an inch thick.)
