made up as she worked.
“London has been my home for
almost a decade and during that
time I happened to see it from a
few different angles, most of which
involved pretty interesting characters
and situations that brought the city to
life in a most unique manner,” says
the illustrator.
“Mind the Gap is a detailed and
intense composition that portrays
London the way I see it,” continues
Tiurina. “It’s populated by bizarre
and one-of-a-kind individuals who
are mashed up together in a most
unusual and yet familiar mix of
a thousand ingredients that are
strange and absolutely acceptable
