foldcard.Foracrispoutline,tracearoundthe

hearttemplatestorefi netheshape.Cutoutwith

acraftknife.

USEafinelinerblackpentocreatetheballoon

stringsandmessage,plusazig-zagshapeto

representtheballoonknotatthebaseofthe

balloon.It’s worthpractisingthemonsomespare

papersoyougetthemjustright.

CHECKifyouneedtoaddacoupleofstitchesto

completetheshape.Ifso,addthemnow, before

positioningandstickingyourstitchingtothe

reverseoftheaperture,usingdouble-sidedtape

tosecureitinplace.
