USEthe alphabet provided to add a
name to the top of the design. If the card
is not for February, you will need to move
the numbers around so that they are
positioned under the correct days –
please refer to a current calendar to do
this. The cross stitch heartwill also need
to move to the correct birth date. Work all
the cross stitch in two strands of
stranded cotton, and the backstitch in
one and two strands.
TRIMthe stitched fabric to fi t your card,
with the design centrally placed behind
the card’s aperture.
PLACEthe stitching on the table
right-side up, and then place the card on
top, pressing down fi rmly on the tape.
ATTACHdouble-sided tape to the
inside of the card around the edgeof
the aperture.
CHECKwhich fl ap will fold onto the back of
the stitching, then add strips of double-sided
tape and press fi rmly down to secure.
