BACKYARD TALES
I was out in
the garden,
noticing just how many
butterflies were visiting
the dozens of zinnias I had
planted in the spring. This
painted lady—so exquisite
and perfect—caught my
eye. The flower, on the
other hand, was past
its prime, but luckily
butterflies don’t go only
for good looks.
