in the McKee-Beshers
Wildlife Management Area
in Maryland. The state
plants the sunflowers to
attract wildlife for the fall
hunters, but we get to
enjoy the flowers and birds
during the brief peak of
fantastic yellow in July.
An amazing variety of
birds land in the fields.
It is a photographer’s
dream come true!
