Want a truly bright
morning? Add zuc-
chini to your oat-
meal—the squash
bulks up your bowl
(yay, fiber!) and packs
plenty of lutein,
which protects your
skin and reduces
post-workout inflam-
mation. To DIY, add
half a medium zuc-
chini (grated and
drained) to your oats
as you cook them, stir
in three egg whites,
cinnamon, and nut-
meg, then top with
walnuts and maple
syrup. It’s like zucchi-
ni bread...on a spoon.
The Cornelia
Red Beet Mule
⅓ cup gin
1 small beet,
cooked
2 strawberries
3 Tbsp lime juice
⅓ cup ginger beer
3 Tbsp
(To make: Simmer
sugar with ½ vanilla

In a blender, puree gin, beet, and strawberries
until smooth. Stir in lime juice, ginger beer, and
vanilla syrup. Ser ve on ice; garnish with lime
wedge (and curry powder, if desired).

Radishing Sparkler
½ cup tequila or
mezcal
¾ cup daikon rad-
ish, coarsely
grated
5 basil or
2 Tbsp lime juice
¾ cup ginger beer
In a cocktail shaker, muddle daikon and basil
(or shiso). Add tequila (or mezcal), lime juice,
and ice; shake. S train into gla sses with ice; top
with ginger beer. Garnish with slice of daikon.

6 drops tiki bitters

In a cocktail shaker, muddle corn until it looks

ters (if using), and ice; shake well. Strain into
glasses; garnish with nutmeg or cinnamon.
