7 Add/Edit a login manually
True Key stores login details for most websites you visit
automatically. If this doesn’t happen you can add credentials
manually. Click the True Key icon at the top right of the screen
then choose Add New Login, then Add Manually. From here you
can add a meaningful title, website URL, username and password.
If you need to edit a login, hover over it and click the pencil icon.


8 Store more secrets
True Key can store other secret data besides passwords. To
get started, click on Secure Notes, then Add New. Enter a title and
add details. You can also colour-code notes if you wish. Click ‘Save’
when you’re done to add the note itself. Click ‘Wallet’ atthe
top-left to add specific info, such as a credit card numbers.You
can add an unlimited number of notes and wallet items.QQ

Add a log in
To start storing credentials, use Edge to navigate to a
website whose credentials you want to store. Enter your
username and password to log in. As you’re signing in, you will
see the blue True Key icon next to each of these fields. Once
you’ve logged in, click the True Key icon at the top-right to view
your logins. Click on a login to be signed in automatically.


3 Create your True Key profile
Once the True Key extension loads, click Let’s Go to begin.
Next, enter your name, email and a master password which you
can use to access your stored credentials. The password must be
at least eight characters long and must contain a mixture of
uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols. Click
‘Next’ to continue, then re-enter your master password to confirm.

Generate secure passwords
One great advantage of using True Key is you can generate
secure passwords for your favourite sites. To get started, navigate
to your chosen website and register an account. Click the True Key
icon inside the password field to open True Key’s Generate
Password prompt. Click ‘Generate’ to create a secure password.
Your new credentials will automatically be added to True Key.

4 Take the tour
True Key now displays a message detailing its features. Click
‘Got It’ to dismiss this. Next, click Start Tour for a basic rundown of
the various features of True Key, which you’ll be using shortly.
Remember, the free version of True Key can store information on
up to 15 logins only. Click ‘Done’ when you’ve completed the tour.
Make sure to confirm your email address before proceeding, too.
