‘Update folders’ to move your user
Documents, Desktop and/or Pictures
folders into your OneDrive folder to
extend the cloud’s umbrella to files
stored in these locations. Tick
‘Automatically save photos and
videos...’ to automatically back up
media copied from phones, cameras
and other external devices.

Improve your
network performance
If you find your Internet connection
grinds to a halt whenever OneDrive
syncs large numbers of files to the
cloud, switch to the Network tab
and set the ‘Upload rate’ to ‘Adjust
automatically’. If it remains sluggish
then head over to http://www.speedtest.net
and check your Internet connection’s
uploadspeed(inMbps).Multiplythis

shouldenterinthe‘Limitto’boxto
