Windows Update woes
Microsoft Edge
http://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/
en-us/download/
Windows 10’s default web browser, Edge,
will soon take advantage of the same
behind-the-scenes code as Google
Chrome, which will make it compatible
with a lot more of the web. It won’t be
sent automatically to your PC for a while,
but if you do want to get your hands on it
early Microsoft has set up a site offering
preview editions for download.
Since the Chromium version of Edge is
still in development, it’s available in
various states of completion: down-
loading Edge from the Beta channel
should give you the least problematic
version, the Dev channel will offer a newer
but wobblier edition, and picking the
Canary channel gets you access to the
latest updates in the shakiest version
going. It’s up to you – but you could
always stick with what you have.
BLEEDING EDGE The new web browser is
available through three different channels.
