Foundation gala fundraiser
June 17 at Oakland Hills
Country Club, one of the
original 14 clubs to form
what would eventually
become the GAM.
100 Years of Serving
Michigan Golf
It all began with 14 golf clubs attending a May 1919
organizational meeting at Detroit Golf Club. Today
the Golf Association of Michigan serves 470 public
and private clubs along with more than 56,000
member golfers.
A Golf Association of Michigan Foundation fundraiser — proceeds benefit Youth on Course, which makes it possible for
kids to play a round of golf for $5 or less at participating Michigan courses.
