Reections on Byres Road
by Kenny Gordon
Leica Q, 28mm, 1/250sec at f/9, ISO 400
Kenny Gordon is a keen amateur photographer from
Glasgow who enjoys shooting a wide range of subjects.
During lockdown he set about creating a mini project of
capturing puddle reections from around his local area.
He saw this as a substitute for not being able to travel
far to capture landscape shots. He says, ‘This shot was
taken in the West End of Glasgow, which is normally a
very busy area. The puddle was huge and enabled me
to capture the full reection of the buildings when I got
down low. The sun also made an appearance to
illuminate the buildings perfectly – showing the unique
stillness that happened during lockdown.’ See more of
Kenny’s images on his Instagram @kgphotozone.
