revive an ally in the campaign

something you’d do in a co-op
multiplayer game”. The prediction
comes to pass as this free DLC adds
two- to four-player action this autumn.
Legends is a self-contained mode
filled with elements based on folktales
and myths. For two players, buddy-
samurai story missions await. These
increase in difficulty as you progress,
and require good working knowledge of
the combat system, working with new
skills with “magical twists”, according to
Sucker Punch.
For four players, the action’s based
on wave-based survival missionsinvolving stronger
enemies than we’ve seen
before, including oni
demons. Legends will
have a Raid (due after
release) that sends a
team of four to a new
realm to tackle an
extra-challenging foe.
The structure
suggests Legends will
be updated post-launch,
turning one of this year’sbest single-player
adventures into a
potential multiplayer
mainstay. It’s a smart
move. That said, the
suggestion of future
support combined with
PS5’s imminent launch
makes us wonder if
Ghost Of Tsushima will
be enhanced beyond
simple back compatibility
