most in the sprawling San Antonio metro area is that no carrier had particularly

than in many other cities, and reliability was lower as well. We saw, in general,
the worst results for all carriers on the south side of the metro area, with a
string of poor results in Cassin and in the semi-rural areas near the Toyota
plant. But speeds in Canyon Springs also weren’t great, with AT&T being the
best performer of a bunch of bad results.

So what’s good in San Antonio? We saw strong AT&T performance across the
central and north sides of the metro area, from downtown up to Startzville (but
not beyond that). We also saw a few Verizon 5G results, but as we caught them

near Southside Lions Park and in the Dignowity Hill neighborhood, but oddly
not downtown.
