MOORE Theresa Kathleen, MBE, passed
away peacefully on 28th September 2020,
aged 74. Founder and CEO of the
Disability Times Trust in Ealing, she was a
tireless campaigner on behalf of disabled
and disadvantaged people. She will be
greatly missed by her partner, Brian, her
family and her many friends. Private
funeral at St Michael’s Chapel, Convent of
the Poor Clares, Ellesmere, Shropshire,
SY12 0PD, on 19th October 2020.

SLEIGHT Peter died peacefully on
7th October 2020, at The Old Prebendal
House, aged 91. Loving husband of 66
years to Gillian, father to Christopher and
James, father-in-law to Elizabeth and
grandfather to Jonathan, Richard, Harriet
and Robert.

STEELE David Kirk died on 5th October
2020, at Phramongkutklao Hospital
Bangkok, Thailand, aged 69. Dearly loved
father to Simon, Richard, Megan, Jonathan,
Christopher and Sonya, loving
grandfather, treasured son to Mary and
Jim and brother to Alastair (dec’d),
Graham and Katherine. His indomitable
spirit meant he was always cheerful in the
face of adversity. Funeral private, no
flowers, but donations welcomed to the
Rotary Stop Polio fund.

STRACHWITZ HAMILTON Elisabeth
(Buff) (née Spurling) on 8th October 2020,
aged 90, peacefully at home. Loving
mother to Caroline, Fiona, Nicholas and
Rupert and grandmother to 13
grandchildren. Thanksgiving Mass to be
held at a later date.

TRENCHARD John died peacefully, after
a long illness, on 9th October 2020, aged

TRICKEY Anne Lesley (née Wadden)
died peacefully on 2nd October 2020 at
home surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of Nick for 58 years,
wonderful mother to Sarah, Charlotte,
Victoria, Rachel and Polly, and special
granny to 16 grandchildren. Due to current
restrictions, the funeral will be private —

WIGHT Sheila Mary Lindsay (née Forbes)
died on 11th October 2020, aged 80, very
peacefully at home. Wonderful partner and
best friend of Robin for 64 years. Loving
mother to Catriona, James, Alasdair and
Douglas and mother-in-law to Simon, Ann
and Lesley. Cherished Granny to Harriet,
Emily, Sacha, Angus, Charlotte, Lucy, Ailsa,
Shona and Calum. Big sister to Jimmy and
Peter. Private family funeral. Memorial
service in 2021 to celebrate her beautiful
life. In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation
can be made to Alzheimer Scotland.

WILCKEN Lt Cdr Anthony David Felix
died peacefully on 11th October 2020,
aged 86, at home in Edinburgh. Former
naval officer, whose seafaring career
began on HMS Worcester, turned criminal
barrister of Hollis Whiteman Chambers.
Beloved husband to Jane and dearly loved
father of Matthew, Angus, Gabriella and
Annabel and six grandchildren. He will be
very sadly missed.

WILLIAMS Susan. It is with the deepest
regret that Paul and her family must
announce the death on 7th October 2020
of Susan Elizabeth Williams, OBE (Sue). Sue
devoted her life to her family and the
nursing profession in Bristol, Shrewsbury,
Birmingham and Glasgow. Due to
prevailing circumstances a private funeral
will be held. Donations in Sue’s memory
are to support Older People’s Mental
Health Research and St Aidan’s Church,

19th September 2020, aged 63. Loving

DAVIDSON Colin William died on 8th
October 2020, aged 86, at home in Ardfern,
Argyll, with Ranee, Kirsti and Heather. Born
in Edinburgh and educated at George
Heriot’s and Edinburgh University. He went
on to become professor and dean of
electrical engineering at Heriot-Watt
University and treasurer, vice-president
and honour fellow of the IEE. He was a
successful and enthusiastic sailor in racing
catamarans and later enjoyed years of
cruising the Western Isles.

ECONOMOU Eugenie (Evi) died
peacefully on 4th October 2020, aged 95.
Much-loved mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother, and by many others
whom she always found time for.

HOLDSWORTH Dr Richard Julian on
Tuesday 29th September 2020 in hospital.
Husband of Lisa, father of Lucy and Eliza,
stepfather of Joanna, Katie and David. A
private family funeral took place at St John
Baptist, Sutton, West Sussex, on
Wednesday 14th October. No flowers but
any donations, if wished, to Parkinson’s UK.
Memorial service to follow at a later date.

KENNEDY Peter Nicholas Dogson (Nick)
on 29th September 2020, aged 65. Beloved
husband of Heather, dear father to Tim and
Peter, and father-in-law to Laura. Barrister
and formerly head of chambers at
Winckley Square, Preston. Keen sportsman
and lifelong LFC supporter. He was much
loved by all who knew him. He has died far
too young. Private funeral. Party to
celebrate his life in the summer.

LAURENCE Elizabeth Aida died on 5th
October 2020, aged 93. The widow of Sir
Peter Laurence. Died peacefully at home
after a long and interesting life. Due to the
current circumstances the service will be
by invitation only, but anyone wishing
