  1. USE THE TOUCH MODIFIER TO SCALE
    FROM THE CENTER
When transforming layers, the onscreen touch modifier has two modes:
You can either tap-and-hold it, or you can tap-and-drag out to the outer
edge of the touch modifier. The former allows you to scale non-propor-
tionally, the latter allows you to scale images from the center out. This
is like holding down the Option (PC: Alt) key using Photoshop on the
desktop to scale from the center.

  2. OPEN PHOTOSHOP FILES FROM YOUR DESKTOP IN
PHOTOSHOP ON iPAD VIA CLOUD DOCUMENTS
One of the first things that the Photoshop engineers made sure of
was that Photoshop on iPad would have 100% compatibility with
Photoshop files (PSD). This means that if you created a Photoshop
layered file on your desktop, you’d be able to open and work with it in
Photoshop on iPad. Granted, all of the desktop features have not yet
made their way to Photoshop on iPad, but you can still open the file
and use the features that are there without destroying the work you did
    in Photoshop on desktop.
You’ll need to save your file as a Cloud Document to be able
to access it easily on the iPad. Just choose Save As in Photoshop
on desktop, and in the Save As dialog, click the Save to Cloud
Documents button. This will save your layered Photoshop file
to Adobe’s cloud. Once it’s done saving/syncing, you’ll be able to
open it from the Cloud Documents section in Photoshop on iPad.
Any changes you make are automatically
    saved and synced back up.
    90. ROTATE THE CANVAS FOR
    BETTER PAINTING AND CLONING
When using tools such as the Brush or the
Clone Stamp, sometimes it would be easier
if you were able to brush at a different angle.
With a piece of physical paper you could
just turn it on your table. With Photoshop
on iPad, you can use two fingers at any
time to rotate the canvas to any angle to
make it easier to paint or clone.

  3. UNDO AND REDO WITH A 2-FINGER TAP
    AND A 3-FINGER TAP
If you have a keyboard attached to your iPad, you can use the same
    Command-Z (PC: Ctrl-Z) shortcut that you use on the desktop to undo;
however, if you’re just working with your iPad with no keyboard, then
it’s nice to be able to Undo and Redo right on the canvas. While there’s a
button for Undo and Redo at the top of the screen, it’s even easier to just
tap with two fingers on the canvas to Undo and three fingers to Redo.

  4. ADD MORE ADOBE FONTS TO PHOTOSHOP ON iPAD
Your font menu in Photoshop on iPad may seem limited at first glance,
but you actually have access to thousands of Adobe Fonts. The problem
is that currently you can’t activate them directly in Photoshop on iPad.
All is not lost, because you can activate fonts for use in Photoshop with
the Creative Cloud app on iPad.
Download and install the Creative Cloud app from the App Store,
and sign in with your Adobe ID. Now tap on Fonts at the bottom of the
screen. You can either Browse for new fonts or you can tap on Installed
fonts to see what’s already installed. Under the Browse Adobe Fonts
section, you have the option to tap “Active fonts not on this device.” This
is an easy way to see which fonts you’ve used on desktop, but haven’t
installed on iPad yet. Just scroll through the list and find the ones you
want to use. Tap on the font and you can then tap the blue plus sign to
install each style of the font you chose. Once they’re installed, you can
immediately go back to Photoshop on iPad and start using them.
