front, high pressure will briefly build in
over the Northeast. Conditions are ex-
pected to be noticeably cooler, with
clouds and some sunshine overhead.

from the south will bring intervals of brief
showers overnight. Otherwise, an over-
cast sky is expected with milder, more
seasonable conditions.

throughout the day, but the area will be
largely dry. Conditions will not be as cool
as the previous day, with temperatures
reaching near-normal levels.

A weak low pressure system will pass
through, producing a few spotty showers.
Otherwise, cloudy conditions will prevail
with seasonably cool conditions. Some

seasonably cool day, with a chance for

A storm system will bring winterlike
conditions to portions of the central and
western United States. Snow will fall
across a swath from Colorado and Wyo-
ming to Wisconsin and the Upper Penin-
sula of Michigan.
Snow will fall heavily at times across
portions of the central Rockies. Rain will
mix with snow farther east and south
across parts of Kansas, Nebraska and
Iowa. Windy conditions will persist across
the Rockies and spread into the South-
west as the system advances south.
With this increase in wind, fire danger
will ramp back up across portions of
California. Rain will develop along a
stalled front stretching from the Carolinas
to the Mid-Atlantic. Unseasonable cold
will chill the Northeast underneath a
sunny sky.
Conditions will be noticeably cooler for
many as air from the north begins to
move into the region. Clouds and a few
breaks of sunshine will be overhead, a bit
of rain will spread from the Carolinas to
parts of the southern Allegheny Moun-
tains. Rain will shift farther north into New
England tomorrow.
