Britney Spears’ makeup
artist says there is a “Hand-
maid’s Tale”-style plot to
keep her from having a
baby with boyfriend Sam
Ashgari.
Speaking on the podcast
“Calababes” this past week,
celebrity cosmetician Maxi

said the pop star’s strict
conservatorship is prevent-
ing her from marrying Ash-
gari, whom she’s been dat-
ing since 2016.
“I can tell you what
they’re still controlling to
this day is whether she has
a baby or not, whether she

gets married or not, who
her friends are, and those
are some big things,” Maxi
said, according to US Maga-
zine. “We’re talking
about some ‘Handmaid’s
Tale’-type things to keep
her from having a baby.”
Spears, 38, has been under

a tight conservatorship run
by her father, Jamie Spears,
68, for 12 years.
An online movement ded-
icated to exposing the con-
straints put on the singer by
using the hashtag #Free-
Britney spread this summer.

The polls are in and it turns
out New Yorkers were right
all along: New Jersey is the
most hated state in America.
According to calculations
by BestLife magazine, only
28 percent of New Jersey’s
population has “state
pride,” and it is loathed
most by people in New

York, Pennsylvania, and
Connecticut — giving it a
“hatred index” of 818.
The Hatred Index was
formed by “calculating the
percentage of the population
that has recently moved out
of each state” combined
with a Gallup Poll measuring
state pride. Paula Froelich

Ee-i-ee-i-ohhh!
Ducks and chicks and geese better
scurry from these cheeky Australian
veterinary-school students, who
stripped off their lab coats, and then
some, to pose for a charity calendar.
With a backside here, and a backside
there — everywhere a backside! — the
Veterinary Student Nude Calendar 2021
sure beats a Farmer’s Almanac in pre-
dicting a bountiful 12 months to come.

Money ponied up for the calendars
will benefit farmers hard-hit by Austra-
lia’s devastating 2019-2020 bushfires.
“We can ship all over the world!” as-
sures the project Web site, BumsFor-
TheBush.com.
The beautifully photographed calen-
dar features strategically positioned
hats and farm equipment, and high-
lights the countryside’s spacious skies
without revealing too much of the am-

ber waves of groin... er, grain.
Creating the annual nude calendars is
a decade-long, charitable tradition at
the Sydney School of Veterinary Sci-
ence, according to the project Web site.
But this year, COVID-19 restrictions
made things challenging for the third-
year students and crew who partici-
pated.
“After careful planning to adhere to
the current NSW COVID-19 regula-

tions, the models were split up into
small groups under 15 people that
stayed separate throughout the day,” the
Web site says.
The veterinarians-in-training also
want the public to know that no animals
were harmed. But embarrassed? Maybe.
Calendars cost about US $17 — and
can be pre-ordered by e-mailing
[email protected].
