IELTS claim that they do not validate Test Report Forms indefinitely because they cannot
guarantee that a candidate’s English language skills are at the same level two years after the
exam date. This claim is false. Cambridge English test certificates (which are not related to IELTS)
do not expire and may be used for migration and professional registration purposes.
