The testimony shown in Figure 50 is similar to thousands of testimonies that I have randomly
encountered when researching IELTS since 2016. Using statistical sampling, I estimate that in
excess of 100,000 verfiable similiar accounts exist. This test-taker is a mature-age (30s) immigrant
from South Africa who consistently records perfect (average) band scores of 9.0 for speaking.
“I want to emigrate to Australia and I needed to score a minimum of “8”
(IELTS) or 79 (PTE-A) in each module respectively (Listening, Reading,
Writing and Speaking).” (Poms in Oz, 2015).
