MOBILE SECURITY FOR ANDROID
Trend Micro Internet Security supports both Windows
and macOS devices, while Maximum Security adds
support for Android and iOS. At the bottom left of the
main window is a link titled Protect Another Device,
and the app frequently adds a tooltip highlighting this
link and reminding you how many licenses remain.
Click that link, click one of the available slots, choose
the device type, and you’re ready to go.
For Android devices, you get three sharing choices. You
can have the app email a link, copy the link to the
clipboard to share in some other way, or display a QR
code. I scanned the code and quickly had Trend Micro

protection; the account connection isn’t baked into the

ANDROID LAB RESULTS EXCELLENT
I follow four independent testing labs that evaluate
Windows antivirus products. Three of these also test
security defenses on Android, and Trend Micro earned
perfect scores from two of them.
