Bathsheba Knot Stitch
Slightly more organized and advanced pattern based on the basic
Solomon’s Knot, Bathsheba Knot Stitch is perfect for lovely shawls.
Main Solomon’s Knot (msk): Draw up long lp on hk, ch 1 through
the long lp, sc in blp of msk.
Edge Solomon’s Knot (esk): Draw up long lp on hk to about two-
thirds length (about 3 ch lengths) of the msk, ch 1 through the
long lp, sc in blp of esk.
Back Loop (blp): The back loop is the single strand of the
Solomon’s Knot made from the ch 1 (the double strand is the
front lp).
Stitch pattern is a multiple of 16 sts plus 2.
