looks great as a band of color in any crocheted ski sweater.

Stitch pattern is a multiple of 15 sts.

Crochet 15 rows of single crochet following the chart for color
changes.

This use of slip stitch embroidery combines with standard
chains for a loop-d-loop edging.

Stitch pattern is a multiple of 8 sts.

Crochet an edging of at least 6 rows of sc.

Join new color to edge with sl st, ch 7, turn work 180 degrees,
sl st to same spot, *using chart as a guide, sl st from right to
left: 1 st over and 1 row down, 1 row down below last sl st, [1
st over and 1 row down] twice, 1 st over, [1 st over and 1 row
up] twice, 1 st up, 1 st over and 1 row up, ch 7, turn work 180
degrees around, sl st to same spot; rep from * across.

For a stronger edge, work another row of sl st in ea sl st and
chain around.
