When you change the color of the bobbles from the back-
ground color, the stitches appear to burst from the fabric.


Ch a multiple of 12 sts plus 10.


Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hk and ea ch across, turn.

Row 3: Ch 1, sc in 1st 3 sc, [change color, 4 hdc-cl in
next sc, change color, sc in next sc] twice sc in next 8 sc;
rep from
across to last 6 sts, change color, 4 hdc-cl in
next sc, change color, sc in next sc, change color, 4 hdc-cl
in next sc, change color, sc in last 3 sc, turn.


Row 4: Ch 1, sc in ea sc and hdc-cl across, turn.


Row 5: Ch 1, sc in 1st 2 sc, [change color, 4 hdc-cl in
