Borla Ripple Stitch

Alternating the cable stitches makes the fabric ripple in a wonder-

fully textured pattern.

Tunisian Treble Crochet (Ttc): Yo twice, insert hk, from right to

left, into front vert bar of next st, yo and pull lp through st, [yo

and pull through 2 lps] twice, leaving last lp on hk.

Ch an odd number of sts.

Row 1 (RS) Fwd: Pull up lp in 2nd ch from hk and ea ch across.

Rtn: Yo, pull through 1 lp on hk, *yo, pull through 2 lps on hk; rep

from * to end.

Row 2 Fwd: Tss in ea st across. Rtn: Work off lps as normal.

Row 3 Fwd: (Lp on hk counts as 1 st.) *Ttc in next st 2 rows below,

Tss in next st; rep from * across. Rtn: Work off lps as normal.

Row 4 Fwd: Tss in ea st across. Rtn: Work off lps as normal.

Row 5 Fwd: (Lp on hk counts as 1 st.) Tss in next st, *Ttc in next st

2 rows below, Tss in next st; rep from * across to last st, Tss in last

st. Rtn: Work off lps as normal.

Rep rows 2–5 to desired length.
