Diamond Knit Stitch
The double crochet clusters make diamond bobbles in the knitted
fabric that look great in simple rectangular projects.
Three Double Crochet Cluster (3 dc-cl): Yo, insert hk btw vert bar
of next st, yo and pull lp through st, yo and pull through 2 lps; rep
from twice more in same st, yo and pull through 3 lps on hk.
Ch a multiple of 10 sts plus 7.
Row 1 (RS) Fwd: Pull up lp in 2nd ch from hk and ea ch across. Rtn:
Yo, pull through 1 lp on hk, yo, pull through 2 lps on hk; rep from
to end.
Row 2 Fwd: (Lp on hk counts as 1st st throughout.) Tks in next 2
sts, 3 dc-cl in next st, Tks in next 7 sts; rep from across to last 6
sts, Tks in next 2 sts, 3 dc-cl in next st, Tks in next 2 sts, Tss in last
st. Rtn: Work off lps as normal.
Row 3 Fwd: (Lp on hk counts as 1st st throughout.) 3 dc-cl in next
