Mildred Lace
The tall stitches in the lace make for a long, flowing fabric.
Ch an even number of sts.
Row 1 (RS) Fwd: Pull up lp in 2nd ch from hk and ea ch across.
Rtn: Yo, pull through 1 lp on hk, yo, pull through 2 lps on hk; rep
from to end.
Row 2 Fwd: Ch 2 (counts as 1st st.) Tks in next st, ch 2, sk next
st; rep from across. Rtn: Yo, pull through 1 lp on hk, ch 1, yo,
pull through 2 lps on hk; rep from to last 2 sts, [yo, pull through
2 lps on hk] twice.
Rep row 2 to desired length.
Last row: Tks in next st and pull through lp on hk, insert hk in
next ch-sp (around top 2 bars), yo and pull up a lp and through lp
on hk; rep from to last st. Tks in last st and pull through lp on hk,
fasten off.
