Peronell Lace

When you change the position of the yarn, the strands create a lat-

tice look with clusters under the bars.

Two Double Crochet Cluster (2 dc-cl): *Yo, insert hk into vert bar

of next st, yo and pull up a lp, yo and pull through 2 lps; rep from

* once more in same st, yo and pull through 2 lps on hk.

Ch a multiple of 4 sts plus 3.

Row 1 (RS) Fwd: Pull up lp in 2nd ch from hk and ea ch across.

Rtn: Yo, pull through 1 lp on hk, *yo, pull through 2 lps on hk; rep

from * to end.

Alianor Lace

Rows of clusters separated by rows of vertical lines give a very

structured lace pattern that works nicely for wraps.

Two Extended Double Crochet Cluster (2 edc-cl): *Yo, insert hk

into vert bar of next st, yo and pull up a lp, yo and pull through 2

lps on hk; rep from * once in same st, yo and pull through 2 lps,

ch 1.

Ch an odd number of sts.

Row 1 (RS) Fwd: Pull up lp in 2nd ch from hk and ea ch across.

Rtn: Yo, pull through 1 lp on hk, *yo, pull through 2 lps on hk; rep

from * to end.

Row 2 Fwd: Ch 2 (counts as 1st st), *2 edc-cl in next st, sk next st;

rep from * across to last st, Tss in last st, ch 2. Rtn: Yo, pull

through 1 lp on hk, *yo, pull through 2 lps on hk, ch 1; rep from *

last 2 sts, [yo, pull through 2 lps on hk] twice.

Row 3 Fwd: (Lp on hk counts as 1 st.) *Tss in next st, insert hk

into top horiz bar of next st and pull up a lp; rep from * across to

last 2 sts, Tss in last 2 sts. Rtn: Work off lps as normal.

Rep rows 2 and 3 to desired length.

Last row: *Tss in next st and pull through lp on hk; rep * to end,

fasten off.
