projects.
Picot: Ch 4, sl st to 1st ch.
Ch 8, sl st to 1st ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 3 (counts as dc),
17 dc in ring, sl st to top of t-ch,
do not turn, fasten off color—
18 dc.
Rnd 2: Join new color, ch 6, 3 tr in next dc, picot, 3 tr in next dc,
ch 6, sl st in next dc; rep from around, sl st to top of t-ch, fasten
off—36 tr.

You can combine these realistic flowers for a brilliant purse or
ottoman.
Popcorn (pop): 5 dc in st indicated, remove hk, insert hk into 1st
dc, place free lp on hk and pull through dc.
Beginning Popcorn (beg pop): 4 dc in st indicated, remove hk,
insert hk into 1st dc, place free lp on hk and pull through dc.
Make an adjustable ring.
Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 1, 6 sc in ring, pull ring closed, do not turn.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, beg pop in 1st sc, [ch 3, pop in next sc] 5 times, ch 3,
sl st to beg pop, fasten off—6 pop.
Rnd 3: Join new color to beg pop, [sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc] in ea ch-3
sp around, sl st to 1st sc, do not turn—6 petals.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in same st, ch 5, sc btw next 2 sc, ch 5; rep from
