Net Cluster Edging

Even though this edging has a number of
rounds, they are easily repeatable. When you
stack these repeatable rounds, the product is
quite stunning as an edging or entire pattern.


Picot: Ch 3, sl st in 1st ch.


The stitch pattern is a multiple of 6 plus 3 on
the sides. Join the yarn to the edge with a sl
st, and ch 1.


Rnd 1 (RS): Sc across edge in a multiple of 6
plus 3, 3 sc in corner; rep from
around, sl st
to 1st sc, turn.


Rnd 2: Sl st in next sc, ch 2, 2 hdc-cl in same
sc, [ch 2, sk 2 sc, 3 hdc-cl in next sc] across
to corner, ch 2, [3 hdc-cl, ch 3, 3 hdc-cl] in
corner sc; rep from
around, sl st to 1st 2 hdc-
cl, turn.


Rnd 3: Sl st in next ch-2 sp, ch 2, 2 hdc-cl in
same ch-2 sp, [ch 2, 3 hdc-cl in next ch-2 sp]
across to corner, ch 2, [3 hdc-cl, ch 3, 3 hdc-cl]
in corner ch-3 sp; rep from
around, sl st to
1st 2 hdc-cl, turn.


Rnds 4 and 5: Rep rnd 3 twice.


Rnd 6: Ch 1, 3 sc in ea ch-2 sp to corner, 5 sc
in ch-3 sp at corner; rep from
around, sl st to
1st sc, turn.


Rnd 7: Ch 1, sc in ea sc to corner sc, 3 sc in
corner sc; rep from
around, sl st to 1st sc,
turn.


Rnd 8: Sl st in next 4 sc, sc in next sc, [ch 3,
picot, ch 3, sk 5 sc, sc in next sc] across to sc 2
sts from corner sc, ch 3, picot, ch 3, sk 3 sc at
corner, sc in next sc; rep from
around, sl st to
1st sc, turn.


Rnd 9: Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, ch 4, picot, ch 4, sc
in next sc; rep from
across to corner ch-sp, ch
5, picot, ch 5, sc in next sc; rep from * around,
fasten off.
