Belle Edging
This sweet little edging adds a touch of cluster charm to any project.
The stitch pattern is a multiple of 6 on the sides. Join the yarn 3
sts before the corner to the edge with a sl st, and ch 1.
Rnd 1 (RS): Sc across edge in a multiple of 6, 3 sc in corner; rep
from around, sl st to 1st sc, do not turn.
Rnd 2: Sl st to next sc, ch 1, sc in same sc, ch 2, sk 2 sc, [sc, ch
5, sc] in corner sc, ch 2, sk 2 sc, sc in next sc, ch 3, sk 2 sc, sc in
next sc; rep from to sc 2 sts away from corner; rep from
around, sl st to 1st sc, turn.
Rnd 3: Sl st in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, [2 dc-cl, ch 3, 3 dc-cl] in same
ch-3 sp, [3 dc-cl, ch 3, 3 dc-cl] in ea ch-3 sp to corner ch-5 sp,
[(3 dc-cl, ch 3) twice 3 dc-cl] in corner ch-5 sp; rep from around,
sl st to 1st 2 dc-cl, turn.
Rnd 4: Sl st to next 3 dc-cl, sl st to next ch-3 sp, [(sc, ch 2) 4
times, sc] in ea ch-3 sp around, sl st
to 1st sc, fasten off.
