Bubble Edging
You can use this unusual pattern as an edging, or it can stand alone
as a scarf or bracelet.
The stitch pattern can conform to any number of stitches on each side
of the project.
Beginning Circle: Ch 9, sl st to 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 18 dc in
ring, sl st to edge, 5 dc in ring, sl st to top of t-ch, do not turn, cont
to circle A.
Circle A: Ch 7, sl st to 4th ch to form ring, ch 2, sl st to 1st ch, 3 dc
in ring, sl st to edge, 3 dc in ring, do not turn, cont to circle B.
Circle B: Ch 13, sl st to
9th ch to form ring, ch
2, sl st to 1st ch, 6 dc
in ring, sl st to edge, 6
dc in ring, do not turn,
cont to next circle.
Rep circle B, circle A,
circle B around, ending
with a circle A.
Closing Circle: Ch 13, sl st to 9th ch to form ring, ch 2, sl st to 1st ch, 6 dc in ring, sl st to edge, 17 dc in ring, sl st to t-ch,
cont to circle A.
Circle A: 5 dc in ring, sl st to t-ch, cont to circle B.
Circle B: 11 dc in ring, sl st to t-ch, cont to next circle.
Rep circles A and B to end. Fasten off.

Rep rows 2 and 3 across edge evenly spacing the sl sts, at the cor-
ner; work rows 2 and 3 halfway between last sl st and corner, work
rows 2 and 3 at corner, place another set halfway from typical edge
sets; rep around ending with a row 2, do not fasten off.
Last row: Sk 1st ch-2 sp on sh, 6 dc in next ch-2 sp, dc in next ch-2
sp, 9 dc in next and ea ch-5 sp around, 9 dc in t-ch sp, ch 2, sl st to
1st ch, fasten off.
