Woven Shell Stitch

By crossing the double crochet groups in the shell, you make a
thatched roof look. Using thin or silky yarn makes a drapable fabric.

(in front of dc just made).

Ch a multiple of 6 sts plus 3.

(in front dc just made), *sk 1 ch, dc in next ch, sk 3 ch, 3 dc in
next ch, ch 3, 3 dc in 2nd skipped ch (in front of dc just made); rep
from * to last 2 ch, sk 1 ch, dc in last ch, turn.
