Bobblet Stitch
The extended stitches in the fabric are a great substitute for classic
bobbles, making this fabric gentle enough for wearable projects.
Extra Extended Single Crochet (eesc): Insert hk into st indicated
and pull up a lp, [yo and pull through 1 lp on hk] twice, yo and pull
through all lps on hk.
Ch an even number of sts.
Row 1 (WS): Sc in 2nd ch from hk and ea ch across, turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, eesc in next sc, sc in next sc; rep from
across, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in ea st across, turn.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in 1st 2 sc, *eesc in next sc, sc in next sc; rep from
- across to last sc, sc in last sc, turn.
Row 5: Ch 1, sc in ea st across, turn.
Rep rows 2–5 to desired length.

terns for color. To rev up your fab-
ric, try switching colors on all the
bobbles or cables in the pattern.
You need to strand the color in
most cases to make this work, but
it is definitely worth the effort.
